Dropbox storage Want to Take on desktops To infinity and Beyond

The
Dropbox has a futuristic vision on how its users can share large amounts of files and access them quickly on their computers without overcrowd their hard drives.

The storage cloud service announced this week a new initiative during its Open conference in London, called Project Infinite.

The idea is to create a new Dropbox interface that allows users to view all your files stored in the cloud directly into the folder on your computer without requiring to keep local copies of each document, image, table, or other type of file. With Project Infinite, users can manage their files in the cloud to move them by the Mac OS X Finder or Windows File Explorer, just as they would any local file that was taking up space on HD.

Currently, Dropbox users who want to see the items that have the service from your other files need to have these downloaded files to your PC or Mac - as needed when Dropbox launched its service to end users for seven and a half years .

Users can save storage space on their PCs with a selective sync feature that downloads only a few files, but the data that people leave out can not be viewed on their computers.

Project Infinite'd get the basic concept of Dropbox to create folders to sync with the cloud and ease of use with a huge amount of files.

This is part of the company's emphasis on helping users to share files, especially corporate usuearios who pay for the service platform. However, there is still much that Dropbox said on the news.

The company did not say when to include the Project Infinite in the public version of its desktop applications, or even which users have initial access at launch.

Flying in Brazil is now as dangerous as in places in war

The lack of investment and security concerns did Brazil again suffer punishment internationally. The International Pilots Association (IFALPA, the original acronym in English) officially downgraded the country in a very respected index over the airspace of a region.
Now, Brazil has an airspace considered Critically Deficient ( "critically poor"). This classification is usually given to sites that are in danger of war or conflict in progress. Worst of all? As this is not the case, the lowering of the reason is the lack of attention of the authorities in relation to a simple problem, but dangerous: balloons.

The high amount of balloons unleashed in near airports or in the Brazilian sky regions in general can cause fatal accidents. The low level can have serious consequences for airlines: in addition to flights decrease if the company find it is not safe enough to fly over some territories, they may have to pay more for insurance of vehicles if the risk of flight is very high. The price, of course, may end up translated into increased cost of air tickets in the future. The Brazilian side
The IFALPA warned the Department of Civil Aviation for some time that the drawdown would happen and even notified the cause, but nothing was done to convince the court to change the decision. Speaking to the season, the Air Force said he did not know the evaluation criteria of IFALPA, claiming that "the Brazilian airspace was considered by a UN body as one of the four safest in the world." However, as the index is quite important in the area, it is possible for national authorities to contact the association to try to change that soon.

Phones have 'panic button' in India to protect women

From 2017, feature phones and smartphones should have recourse.assault rate against women and rape growing in the Asian country.
The phones sold in India should have from 2017 a "panic button" to warn of danger, the government said on Tuesday (27). The goal is to prevent sexual assaults in a country with many problems of violence against women.
"Pressing the button, the police, family members and designated friends will be alerted. With it, you can give an immediate response to issues related to cases of danger, "explained the Minister of Indian Communications, Ravi Shankar Prasad, on Twitter.
The minister stressed that the main goal is "to help the endangered women with the power of technology." The cell should furthermore count in 2018 with a GPS system for your location "in case of harassment or danger," said Prasad.
The Indian Minister of Women, Maneka Gandhi, described as "historic step for safety" legislation passed by the Department of Telecommunications, which states that the new phones will include the "panic button" from January 1, 2017 and the old will have to install it.
The button will correspond to keys 5:09 on any device. In smartphones, it will be set on the power button on and off, to send the warning when played three times.
"The goal is to provide a safety net for millions of women who face danger in their daily life," said Gandhi, as it expects the alert button acts "as a deterrent to criminals."
Gandhi said that the new legislation is part of the Narendra Modi government policy to combat violence against women in the country, where complaints of aggression only increase, though largely by greater social awareness.
According to the National Bureau of India Crimes Register (NCRB, the acronym in English) in 2014, complaints of aggression against women increased 18% and rapes rose by 31%.
The case occurred in December 2012, when a young woman was raped in a group on a bus in progress in the Indian capital and died days later from his wounds, unleashed a wave of outrage across the country that led to toughen penalties against aggressors and improve measures to protect women.
